This is an 24 inch SATA cable to be used with any SATA compatible devices. I needed a few of these because my motherboard only came with a single SATA cable. I haven't experienced any problems with this cable, so it seems to work fine. It looks fairly sturdy. Not bad product.

In my Thermaltake Armor case, it has a drive bay up by the power supply. The shorter SATA cables cannot reach inside this large case. This one reaches easily and doesn't block airflow to the processor.

This is a basic cable for your SATA hard drive. This type of connection offers supirior airflow as compared to that of IDE connections. The only problem with thie calbe is that it might be too long for some people, but other wise, if you need it, get it.

The SATA cable is much smaller than the IDE cable. Provides a ton more bandwidth and better air circulation. 24" is pretty long considering most drives are now mounted a few inches from the connector.
Where these are ideal are the newer SATA cdrom drives that are coming out. Then they can easily reach the device.
