You will love your SATA drive. However, if your motherboard didn't include enough, get this one. Quality cable, good manufacturing. Much faster throughput than your old IDE drives.

The SATA cables provide much better performance than the older IDE cables. Small and compact, the provide much better airflow performance through the case.

Very small cable, good length, cranks out the data from your fast SATA drive. worth the investment if you don't have a cable or damaged one.
