In this cable, several pairs are crossed enabling send and recieve to work between 2 computers. No need for a router / switch / Hub. Works great, you will need to setup static IPs to do it.

Easy to use cable. Provides a handy interface to network devices or connecting computers. Used with the old switches to uplink to a main switch. Nice to have a couple on hand.

This is a handy cable. Many of the older HP, 3COM and Cisco devices needed special cables for uplink. These were the cables needed. Now they have been replaced by auto connect technology that will work with either. Handy for simple PC to PC connections.
