The Zalman CNPS9700 is a newer version of the famour CNPS9500. This company has been greatly known for their special flower design, that although very bid, is highly efficient in cooling your processor. The Zalman CNPS9700 cools a bit better than the older one, about 1 to 4C in load, which is why those that already have the Zalman CNPS9500 should not buy this. Another difference by the two is that this latest heatsink features a 110MM fan, in contrast to 92MM. This adds quite a big more weight (continued...)

The Good:
Excellent!! Dropped my E6750 from 28 to 17 degrees even with the CPU OCed to 3.0 ghtz. Not a big OC but I'm not much on surfing near the edge anyway.
The Squirrelly:
I bought it for a Q9550 but haven't installed the new CPU yet so can't say for sure how it will do with the quad core.
