The Wiz made it very easy for me to make the decision to purchase this eSata Docking Station. They had the absolute best price, (and still do), plus it was something that I really needed. I was not disappointed at all. This docking station is absolutely perfect. It was simple to hookup, simple to understand and very simple to use. I have already used a couple of different 3.5" drives that previously would have just remained unused on a shelf, and useless. Now these drives are being put to good use for additional backups, storage and who knows what else.
I was very impressed with my first purchase from E-Biz. The shipping was same day, it arrived on-time and was well packaged. I now consider myself a new EWiz customer.

The button on top , isnt a button. just be sure not to press it.
its just the light cap for the blue and red led.
looks like a button. thats what my 4 y/o said , as he pressed it in..:(
Also, the speed will depend on your hard drive that you dock into the cradle. And...i suggest always remove the hard drive first via the taskbar, then power off the unit , then pull out the drive. Sometimes it will not pick up the drive again, when placed back into the cradle.
Overall im happy. except thanks to my wonderful loving son, i have a empty hole on top where the "button" was

Great for backups, transferring data to new computers, storage. eSATA much faster than USB.

No problems whatsoever. It still works like a champ.
If you need to change hard drives constantly or if you feel you have too many externals and too few outlets. This will definitely help your case.

No dust cover for the hard drive?
Pro Tip:
Haven't tried the eSATA port yet.
