Replaced Celeron D installed in older Intel D865PERL board, took right off with no problems! Runs cool (38C) with copper heat sink with 80mm fan and Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound. Very pleased with purchase and performance. Runs Vista smoothly, earns a solid 4.0 Vista User Experience Rating, Good card for older games.

I bought this chip a little over 1 year ago from eWiz to replace the stock P4 2.4ghz Celeron that was in my Dell. The chip is a great value for the cost and only dropped $3 in the last 13 months, however, it lacks future technologies, like Intel(R) Virtual Technology. Without this, you can not run the virtual XP Mode in Windows 7. You'll probably have to settle for a dual-boot system if you want to run XP programs and XP-specific peripherals.
